Some songs that tickle my fancy:

Lisztomania - Phoenix



The reason this song is so perfect is because it just makes me want to dance and never stop. The lyrics don't even matter because the song itself is just so groovy. "Lisztomania" is referring to how popular Franz Liszt was, even though he was a classical composer. The rhythm in this song is very catchy, and has a lot of instrumental power that really gets you into the song. The vocals in this song are very unique and dynamic. Moby - Flower

I like this song for many reasons, I really like the beginning how it just keeps building to an awesome bass part that you can "feel" instead of having to pay attention to it with your brain. The lyrics are very repetitive, as well as the beat; but during the whole song I really look forward to that bass part. I like that they use piano in this, they make the piano sound really funky. They really just have this song cycle over and over again, but each time they add something different to it that keeps you interested. The  vocals in this song are really old sounding; which sound great with the newer sounding bass! My interpretation of this song would be that they wrote this song from a slaves point of view during pre-civil war era. When you hear the song, the lyrics sound totally different from what they actually are; so I'd advise you to look up the lyrics to get a better understanding of what the lyrics are talking about. Cinematic Orchestra - To Build a Home

This is a very powerful song because throughout it just keeps building stronger and stronger; and I think that the vocals in this video are unique and make the song sound very peaceful and enjoyable. If you read the lyrics you can find some sort of connection to them. They are pretty powerful lyrics.
